This property lies deep in the Tuscan countryside, in the beautiful Chianti region, amid vineyards, cypress trees and rolling green hills. The Villa is in a stunning location and has breathtaking views over Chianti’s famous vineyards. Recently restored, the Villa retains an authentic feel with its antique terracotta floors and large stone fireplaces but has been furnished inside to provide guests with optimum comfort.
During the restoration, fabulous outside dining areas were added in order to dine al fresco; one with an intricate iron gazebo, a huge barbeque and outdoor fireplace, which overlooks the beautiful swimming pool. This really is a wonderful villa to enjoy in the summer months under the vine covered pergolas or to enjoy in the warmth of a real fire when the weather cools.
Located just a few minutes from the property, in one of the narrow streets of Panzano, you will find the Antica Macelleria Cecchini opened more than 200 years ago. Macelleria means "butcher shop" in Italian, but this is much more. Dario Cecchini, the owner, has recreated an antique-style shop where you can buy unusual cuts of fresh and prepared meats. You can enjoy these also in his restaurants in Panzano, Solo Ciccia and Officina della Bistecca.
Enter the villa to an entrance hall with large fireplace. On the ground floor is a dining room with two tables, seating up to 14 people, a living room with antique stone fireplace, a kitchen, laundry room and guest bathroom with shower.
On the first floor there is the master bedroom with en suite shower room and beautiful countryside views, a double bedroom with wrought iron bed and a large bathroom with tub. There are also two further bedrooms, one double with en-suite shower room and two windows with views over the valley and pool, and a twin (suitable for children) with small en-suite shower room.
The two annex rooms next to the villa have additional two bedrooms; a pretty French-style double with en-suite shower room and air conditioning, a large double room with en-suite shower room, air conditioning and seating area, and a small double bedroom with en-suite shower room and direct access to the pool area. The two annex houses have air-conditioning.
The well manicured gardens of the Villa with pathways and antique statutory hold a vine-covered and a wrought iron loggia, one at ground floor level ideal for an aperitif and one at the pool level with BBQ and dining table, seating up to 14. There is also a covered patio equipped with sofas boasting beautiful views of the surrounding vineyards, with fireplace. In addition, there is a separate air-conditioned room containing a home gymnasium
