Ardeche holiday rental - this large, fortified Mas in the upper Ardeche dates back to the 16 th century. Situated on the outskirts of the village of Lalevade, the completely refurbished accommodation is built around a central courtyard. All modern amenities have been installed within the thick stone walls of this Ardeche holiday rental and the old Pigeonnier has been converted into a charming pool house.

It is ideally located just 25 minutes from the stunning Gorge de l' Ardeche, reputedly one of the most spectacular Gorges in Europe. The dazzling green and turquoise waters of the Ardeche River provide endless opportunities for canoeing and white water rafting, or stay on foot and enjoy the fabulous panoramic views from one of the many hiking trails.

Lalevade has a few shops and a bar but Aubenas offers a wider choice of amenities. The large towns of Privas and Montelimar, famous for its delicious nougat, are well worth a visit and within easy reach of this Ardech holiday rental.
