Lithos’ means ‘stone’ – a most appropriate name for a house that seems to have grown out of the rocky hillside itself and that sits so naturally in its own olive grove, with glorious views of the coastline below, nearer and more accessible than you might expect. All the stone used in the building and decoration of this lovely house was hewn from the hillside on which it stands. The house is approached by a flight of steps and is situated just above the centre of the village of Nissaki.
Lithos has an air of serenity thanks to its uncluttered and stress-free style, with muted colours that perfectly set off some beautiful and interesting objects and paintings. The high level of comfort extends to the outdoor seating on the pool terrace, with wide sofas just right for lounging. This is the perfect setting, too, for an evening drink, before wandering over to the generously-sized barbecue and outdoor dining area. With beaches, shops, and restaurants only a short walk away, and hillside paths to explore, this is an excellent choice of holiday house, with something for everyone, whether it is sheer relaxation or something a little more active.
