Set in beautiful grounds this lovely house has a very particular charm, with comfortable living areas and atmospheric views, typical of the Loire Valley.
Located in the western Loire, this elegant house built in 1830 enjoys proximity to various attractive villages and an array of châteaux. Montjean-sur-Loire (3km) is the closest village with all shops and services, tennis courts, horse riding and bike hire. There are further shops and supermarkets at Chalonnes-sur-Loire (7km), and many good restaurants within a short drive.
Fishing is possible in the Loire River just 50m from the property (fishing permit and accessories available in the village).
Apart from some famous châteaux that can be visited nearby (magnificent Château de Serrant 20km, Château d'Angers with its Tapisserie de l'Apocalypse 33km, enigmatic Château Plessis-Bourré 45km, the tallest château in France Château de Brissac 37km), there are historic villages with much to explore (Béhuard 20km, Saint Florent-le-Vieil 16km, Savennières 19km). There are also gardens to visit, many small local museums, and of course some of the best wines in the country.
