As we swept up to the impressive entrance of the Casa it was immediately clear that we had arrived at a house of stature and quality. Brand new to our 2012 portfolio, long-standing friends of ours, Cecilia and Carlos, have created yet another perfectly proportioned, superbly appointed and tastefully decorated house, easily comparable with their larger properties which include the ever popular Casa do Baixo, Casa Cahombo and Casa das Pedras.
Placing the emphasis, as always, on ease of living the thoughtfully designed interior is bright, smart and welcoming in every regard. The exterior is an equal joy. Bordered by lawn and oleander fringed sun terrace, the private swimming pool is an excellent size and ideally complemented by a separate, solar heated children’s pool. A substantial in built barbecue sits to one side of the covered dining terrace and, a large dedicated games room provides the ideal shady sanctuary for young and old alike when summer temperatures are at their height.
Perfect for essential amenities, nearby Boliqueime (4km) has three minimarkets, a post office, bank, chemist and two restaurants (one of which specialises in piri-piri dishes). Fully comprehensive facilities and a blue flag beach of soft golden sand are just 12km away at Olhos de Agua with the five internationally renowned golf courses of Vilamoura about 14km.
