This is a landmark building nested in the Garonne river valley, at the footstep of the Pyrenees mountains. The property is located 45 minutes away from downtown Toulouse and the Blagnac industrial complex via the A64 highway (directiion Tarbes).
Built in the 1520s, the property has been fully renovated starting in 1998, and offers modern, luxurious facilities in an untouched historical environment. The Chateau is situated at the outskirts of the village and surrounded by 40 hectares of tree plantations.
This year, the property offers bedding capacity for up to 20 adults, in seven suites located at the chateau itself and 3 bedrooms located in the main farmhouse, 100 yards away from the castle itself.
The living areas include two dining rooms, a living room, a billiard room and a fully functional office/business center.
The red licing room's environment is marked by XIXth century gothic revival; the chimney was redone at the time, while the wooden paneling adds a warm feeling to the place.
The formal yellow dining room can be converted into a conference room with a capacity of 20-25 participants.
The office offers a quiet space for work, communications and reading. It is equipped with a fully-functional PC with internet access and all commonly-used software, a printer and a fax machine.
Located on the chateau's top floor, the billiard room is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of armagnac after dinner. It is also the TV room; it's large television set has access to major international channels (through satellite connection), and guests enjoy a large choice of DVDs.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
In 2008 we added a spectacular 7th suite under the rooftop, with 5-meter high ceilings. In total, seven suites are currenlty available at the chateau, all with high standards of comfort, large bathrooms, and TV/DVD sets. Six of them boast queen or king size beds while another one offers two spacious single beds.
The historical rooms have been decorated over a ten-year timeframe by the current owner and are unique in style, offering the cosy feeling and charm that have made the reputation of Chateau de St martory. The seventh room, however, is outrageously modern.
