The villa is a stone built old villa, recently renovated to the highest standard of taste and luxury. The villa comprises of a large stylish and comfortable sitting room and dining area which opens out onto a series of stone paved terraces with a pool and jacuzzi. The villa, its terraces and swimming pool directly overlook the sea with one of the world’s most famous and most beautiful views - Dubrovnik old harbour and the medieval city walls rising up and reflecting in the sea. Three spacious and airy bedrooms with large sumptuous en suite bathrooms are a blend of modern comfort and style that connects the present day concept of luxury with the fabric and colour of Dubrovnik’s honey coloured stone. The sand colour palette of the outside is also found inside, where the slightly oriental feel of the décor is reminiscent of Dubrovnik’s historic position on the medieval trade route between Europe and the Orient. The owners have given this extremely luxurious and unique place its understatedly exotic feel of a wonderful carefree seaside villa which is very private, but within minutes of the Old Dubrovnik centre.
The villa is accessed in two ways. You can arrive through a small wrought iron gate and descend by garden steps to the villa . Alternatively, you can also arrive from the grounds of the neighboouring hotel along the walkway by the sea, and on through the private gates onto the terrace of the villa. Your cars will be parked in the hotel car park for no extra charge.
The rooms and bedrooms are cool and have a view of the sea. Outside there are shaded terraces with relaxing armchairs in the garden and around the beautiful mosaic-tiled pool. There is air conditioning in each room.
Old wooden beams and wonderful stone coloured floor tiles are a feature of this large and elegant room with windows and doors to the outside terrace, facing the island of Lokrum and the sea. Wonderful antique rugs cover the floor and a relaxing sitting area is filled with cream, blue and beige sofas. Delicate muslin curtains contribute to the cool feel of the sitting room.
A wooden staircase leads to the upstairs bedrooms and divides the sitting room into sitting and dining areas. A grand wooden table, sitting 10 persons, is situated along one wall which is decorated with a beautiful painting. The room is also decorated with lovely ironwork lamps and lanterns of Marocan style.
