This modern, spacious villa, designed by a renowned architect, is situated just above the sea in Rayol Canadel. It is just a 500 metre walk to the beach, where there are two seafront restaurants, Le Bailli de Suffren and Le Grand Bleu. The village centre is also just a few minutes walk from the property, with all amenities, including restaurants, supermarket, post office and boulangeries. In addition, there is a twice weekly market on Tuesdays and Fridays from April to the end of September. The island of Port Cros, is a ten minute boat trip away, and the Iles de Porquerolles, a 45 minute boat trip. A boat can be rented from either Cavalaire or Le Lavandou port.
The house has been designed with a great feeling of light and space, with large French doors opening from the living room, dining area and open-plan kitchen to wooden decking and the garden beyond, and fabulous sea views. The kitchen opens to a pergola covered outdoor dining area. The swimming pool is accessed by large steps at one end, and has a jet-stream. It is alarmed for the safety of young children and can be heated on request. It is surrounded by a teak terrace, and the garden and there are plenty of sun loungers for relaxing and enjoying the sea views.
The interiors are decorated and furnished very tastefully in soft, neutral colours. The living room is furnished with a comfortable large corner sofa and armchairs and equipped with plasma screen satellite TV and DVD player. The villa is fully air conditioned throughout and has wi-fi internet access. There are six bedrooms in total, two at ground floor level and four on the first floor. The master bedroom, on the ground floor, has satellite TV and opens to the front terrace, overlooking the pool area. The guest bedroom on this level overlooks the garden. The four upstairs bedrooms all have satellite TVs and sea views.
All the bedrooms can be made up as double or twin beds, except the master bedroom, which has a special king-size double bed, which can be positioned by remote control. The windows all have shutters and the house has a secure alarm system. Entrance is by remote control electric gates with code and videophone. There is garage parking for one car and plenty of space for outdoor parking. To one side of the house, there is a path suitable for wheelchair access to the ground floor.
