Known as a centre of Festivals in Gozo, a local Carnival is held in February of each year and a wine festival is held every late August/September. There is also a local band club a pizzeria and many restaurants. Furthermore, it is close to the coast, with Ramla Bay, arguably the best beach on Gozo, just 2 kms away, and the small coves of San Blas and Dahlet Qorrot, 3 kms away, both perfect for snorkelling.
