This is idyllically located in the heart of rural Herefordshire, close to the Welsh mountains.
The interior is unexpectedly stunning, with a large open-plan living/dining/kitchen area set beneath a vaulted ceiling. A spiral staircase leads to a folly mezzanine floor equipped with a futon for an additional guest or child. A wetroom with shower and wc below this mezzanine provides an independent washing area.
The main bedroom is quite spectacular, accessed by a second spiral staircase, with a super-king-size bed with pocket sprung mattress, Egyptian linen sheets and large cotton towels. A rolltop bath stands in the bedroom, with a separate wc and stylish porcelain double sinks set on a black granite top for yet another touch of luxury.
French doors open on to a garden terrace and the lovely garden itself, designed by award-winning Lance Hattat and planted with lavender, lawns and beech hedges, makes this a truly special place to stay.
Ground Floor: French doors open onto an open plan kitchen, dining and living area, with vaulted ceiling and exposed beams. There is a downstairs WC and shower room at the kitchen end of the house. At the living room end of the house a door leads onto the double bedroom, with en suite bathroom.
