Paxos can be found 14 kilometres south of Corfu, 20 kilometres to the east is Parga on the mainland of Greece.
It is a small picturesque island with charming and unspoilt landscapes.
Paxos is an island of endless olive groves and Anti Paxos one large vineyard. The eastern coastline of the islands is gentle compared to the west coast, which are bold and abrupt, with caves, arches and shear cliffs.

Puglia, Italy's heel, is a veritable storehouse of natural and cultural treasures waiting to be discovered. With its fabulous climate, Apulia has the best of both worlds: some of Italy's quietest and most unspoiled beaches, a stunning coastline, and inland, landscapes that are fertile and undulating - often dotted with picturesque olive trees and pastoral herds of sheep. As you travel across Apulia, the silhouettes of ancient ruined castles and magnificent palazzi on the horizon imbue this land with an almost Arcadian feel and evoke a sense of peaceful nostalgia for former times.

The great African continent comes to a perfect conclusion at the Western Cape - the province at the very tip of South Africa. The Western Cape extends along the coastline from Lamberts Bay right round to Plettenberg Bay. This diverse region is dominated by its capital, Cape Town, which attracts vast numbers of tourists each year and is largely a first world city, yet still truly African in flavour.
