SKIATHOS

villa holiday blog post image

Skiathos' main attraction is undeniably its stunning coastline - rocky headlands cloaked in pine and olive trees punctuated by one golden sandy beach after another - it is said to have a greater number of sandy beaches than any other Greek island, with some 60-odd bays and coves scattered along the south coast alone.
Skiathos Town is a picturesque cluster of whitewashed, red-tiled houses sprawling between two hills.
Although Skiathos is the smallest of the Sporades islands, it is easily the most sophisticated, but despite boasting all the facilities required for lazy summer holidays, the town has lost none of its traditional Greek charm.

TUSCANY (NORTH)

villa holiday blog post image

There is a lot to see and do in Tuscany, the difficulty is really where to start. Certainly most should start with Florence, then continue on to Siena and Pisa.
Visitors to Tuscany come for many reasons. Many come in search of fine art, others to explore the extraordinary countryside. Gourmets and wine buffs descend on Tuscany to enjoy the simple yet wonderful cuisine and wine. Walkers enjoy the mountain paths, cyclists the rolling hills, summer vacationers the sea coast and islands.

CORFU EAST

villa holiday blog post image

In the east of Corfu, olive groves covered in cypress trees stretch down to unspoilt fishing villages and picturesque coves. Dramatic mountains with pine trees dominate the sandy beaches of the west.
Everywhere, the bywords are slow and steady. When life is this relaxed, there is no need to hurry. Bask in the heat, bathe in the sea, and breath in the wonderful smells of the flowers and shrubs. Nightlife is centred around waterside tavernas, feasting on the day's catch, moussaka, or sofrito, veal in a tomato sauce, with local wines like retsina.

DALYAN

villa holiday blog post image

The town of Dalyan is located in Turkey near the river of the same name and is about 12 km from the sea.
Dalyan is easily distinguished from other small towns on the Mediterranean coast. Its upstream position offers more tranquility, it has kept a small town atmosphere and the ruins of Kaunos make it one of the coastal towns the most incredibly spoiled by ancient monuments.
It is nice to discover the small town of Dalyan both day and evenings with its bustling streets. You can discover Turkish cuisine which is tasty and varied and finish the evening by letting yourself be captivated by the warm atmosphere.
